TINY TOWNS ART TRAIL
The Textile Palette Exhibition is proud to be a collaborative partiner in the annual Tiny Towns Art Trail
Tiny Towns Arts Trail is an annual open studio event occurring over the ANZAC weekend every April. An artist run initiative, Tiny Towns Arts Trail is open to professional, emerging and amateur artists living and working in the tiny towns of the Central Goldfields and surrounding shires.
Each year, artists open their studios, exhibit their work in local cafes, and inhabit makeshift gallery spaces within their tiny towns to provide visitors with a unique experience and an opportunity to peek into the creative minds and working spaces of local artists across the region.
When not on the trail local artists and creators participate in many local exhibitions and pop up events. We encourage you to explore the Tiny Towns Art Trail to keep your finger on the creative pulse of the Central Goldfields and surrounds, and to discover the diverse artists who call this region home.
The historic village of Clunes Victoria is the gateway to the Tiny Towns Art Trail if visitors are travelling from the south + east and the annual Textile Palette Exhibition is a ‘must see’. The annual exhibition’ is a fine and unique collection of stitched textile + fibre artworks by established and emerging artists and highly worthy of a visit.
If you are beginning or ending the trail in Clunes, the historic Fraser Street precinct hosts a range of artisan displays over the ANZAC Day weekend each year including The Clunes Art Group, the Clunes Boom Building and local artisans in their private studios.
Be sure to follow the signs. The Esmond Gallery is located upstairs on Level One, at The Warehouse Clunes in Collins Place, 36 Fraser Street, is open 10.00am - 4.00pm (Tuesdays Closed) during the annual Tiny Towns Art Trail.
