Constance Howard (1910 - 2000)
Constance Mildred Howard, later Constance Parker, was an English textile artist and embroiderer who had a profound impact on the development and teaching of those subjects in Britain. The Constance Howard Gallery, part of Goldsmiths, University of London, is named in her honour.

With a career spanning eight decades from the 1930s until 2010, Louise Bourgeois, is one of the great figures of modern and contemporary art. She is best known for her large-scale sculptures and installations, including textiles + fibre, that were inspired by her memories and experiences.
